AFL's 50th Anniversary

I was recently approached by Reebok and the NFL to shoot a campaign for the AFL's 50th Anniversary. They brought in Leon Washington (NY Jets), Brian Moorman (Buffalo Bills), and Fred Taylor (New Engand Patriots). They were outfitted in throw back uniforms from the 1960's.  Pics and more after the jump... We shot them in studio on field turf and will be composting simplistic field backgrounds. Here is a look from behind the scenes. I will post the finished product once we have approval.

I wanna thank everyone for making this shoot such a success. Abe Sands for keeping an eye on the football, Jeff Douglass for making sure the lighting was tight, Steve Sangalang for snapping some fresh behind the scenes pics, Janet Henderson for Producing her ass off, Marci Duarte for her amazing props and apparel and Lauren Genatossio for shaving Fred Taylor and keeping the hair and makeup tight.

Nice photo gear. Looks like a medium format Haseblad with a Phase I back... Wow! I only wish. Also the lighting is interesting, lots of it. Would love to know what they are shooting at. Almost seems like too much light. ? Nice throwback jersey's for the Bills.

P.S. Go Bills.

Nicely done. They look like the poster inserts from Topps Football cards of the 1960's.
