Killing Time

I had an hour to kill so I decided to take one of my collectable toys off the shelf and bring it outside to photograph it. I used the Canon 5D MarkII and a 50mm macro lens at 3000 ISO and a little bit of grit added in post. The subject is the 12" Iron Man MarkI figure put out by HotToy

The Projekt

I have been feeling pretty guilty lately about not updating the blog as much as I would like to. This has been hard due to the fact that most of what I have been shooting has been confidential including my own personal projects.

For the last 4 months I have been working on a large self promotional project that I fit in between major shoots. It is a science fiction story that will be showcased in a beautifully printed book as well as a multimedia presentation that will come with the book on Blueray. To date we have shot over a half dozen locations throughout Boston utilizing only available light. The story takes place in two different times...the 1940's and 2043. The amount of resources used in this project continues to grow weekly. We have had a motorcycle completely ripped apart and rebuilt from the frame up, four futuristic costumes and props designed and fabricated from one of the best in the industry, access to incredible locations most people have never seen,  etc... Without going into too much detail it is the biggest thing I have done this far in my photographic career. I am very excited for it to be finished but there is still too much work to be done. I will keep you in the loop as to the progress of the .

STAY TUNED....

Ryan Seacrest & Coke

A little while ago, myself and the crew flew out to L.A. to shoot Ryan Seacrest for Coke.  The shoot went about smooth as smooth gets when dealing with celebrities.  Normally, there is no room for error, and everything has to be tight in order to stay on schedule.  My crew did a really great job of executing and making sure everything went down as planned for this shoot, and everyone walked away happy.  The shoot involved 3 different sets, one being the red room made famous on American Idol.  Here is a shot from that set as well as some behind the scenes photos.
